Story:

Laura Biel is a successful sales director in Warsaw, Poland. She is in a long-term relationship, but her relationship is stale and unfulfilling. On her 29th birthday, Laura and her friends travel to Sicily for a vacation.

While in Sicily, Laura meets Massimo Torricelli, a handsome and powerful Sicilian Mafia boss. Massimo is instantly smitten with Laura, and he kidnaps her. Massimo tells Laura that he will give her 365 days to fall in love with him.

At first, Laura is terrified and resistant to Massimo's advances. But as she spends more time with him, she begins to fall under his spell. Massimo is everything that Laura's boyfriend is not: passionate, exciting, and dangerous.

Director's Vision:

Director Barbara Białowąs wanted to create a film that was both sensual and suspenseful. She wanted to tell the story of a woman who is torn between two worlds: the safety of her old life and the excitement and danger of her new life with Massimo.

Białowąs also wanted to explore the themes of love, passion, and power. She wanted to show how love can transform a person, even if it is a love that is born of violence.

Cast:

Anna-Maria Sieklucka is perfectly cast as Laura Biel. She brings both vulnerability and strength to the role. Michele Morrone is also well-cast as Massimo Torricelli. He is both physically imposing and charismatic.

The supporting cast is also strong, with Bronisław Wrocławski, Otar Saralidze, and Magdalena Lamparska all giving memorable performances.
